Die treibende Kraft

about

This is really a historical one. If I remember correctly I have written it back in 1996. The idea was to have something for my brother in law (keyboards) and me for a jamming session. Three years later I bought a 2nd hand keyboard, and replaced my brother in law with the sequencer. Now I was independent from weekends and schedules.

When I learned to use the computer as a studio this was one of the first songs I recorded, maybe the first I'm not sure. Like with "Lost in Space" the original project is lost so I took the old stereo file, tried to tame the drums, give the track more clarity and here it is. Some really really early Level π.

It's recorded on a pentium PC with windows 95 and I believe something like Cubasis. All guitars are played through my Toneworks AX1000G, everything else is from a YAMAHA PSR SQ 16 Keyboard (even the drum programming happened there). I think I used some Cubasis stock plugins (eq, reverb and delay). And that's it. Very basic. Very Krautrock driven.
